Chevron Rib Knitting Pattern
The chevron rib stitch is another quick pattern to master as it only has four repeating rows and two of them are straight purl rows. I have rated this one intermediate though because as with other lace/eyelet stitches, you do have to knit stitches together, slip stitches and pass the slip stitches over.
Skill level: Intermediate; 7 Stitch pattern repeat.
Multiple of 7 + 2.
1st row (right side): K1, *k1, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k1; rep from * to last st, k1.
2nd row: Purl
3rd row: K1, *k2tog, yo, k3, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, rep from * to last st, k1.
4th row: Purl
Rep these 4 rows.
