A stitch counter is a very handy tool to have on hand if you are going to stitch up this clover knitting pattern. 1st row (right side): K2tog, k4, yo, k1, yo, k4, *sl 1, k2tog, psso, k4, yo, k1, yo, k4, rep from * to last 2 sts, sl 1, k1, psso
2nd and every alt row: Purl.
3rd row: K2tog, k3, [yo, k3] twice, *sl 1, k2tog, psso, k3 [yo, k3] twice; rep from * to last 2 sts, sl 1, k1, psso
5th row: K2tog, k2, yo, k5, yo, k2, *sl 1, k2tog, psso, k2, yo, k5, yo, k2; rep from * to last 2 sts, sl 1, k1, psso.
7th row: K1, *yo, k4, sl 1, k2tog, psso, k4, yo, k1,; rep from * to end.
9th row: K2, yo, k3, sl 1, k2tog, psso, k3, *[yo, k3] twice, sl 1, k2tog, psso, k3; rep from * to last 2 sts, yo, k2.
