Hint: This yarn can be a little tricky to work with so each time you complete a row 3 row, check to be sure you have 9 (6) spaces going across. Work through both loops while crocheting this scarf. Chain 21 (15) Row 1: hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 2 turn [19 (13) hdc across] Row 2: hdc in 1st hdc and in each hdc across; ch 2 turn. Row 3: hdc in 1st hdc, *ch 1, sk 1 hdc, hdc in next hdc. Repeat from * across. ch 2 turn. Row 4: hdc in 1st hdc, *hdc in next sp; hdc in next hdc. Repeat from * across. ch 2 turn. Row 5: hdc in each hdc, ch 2 turn Repeat rows 3 through 5 until scarf measures approximately 54" (44"). Fasten off and weave loose back into the scarf with a yarn needle. If you want to change the width of the scarf, use an odd number of stitches across. |
