Crossed Double Crochet Stitch

crossed double crochet stitch pattern

To work the crossed double crochet stitch, you work a foundation row of single crochet followed by a row of X stitches. The X is formed by skipping a stitch, doing a double crochet then going back and stitching a double crochet into the skipped stitch. It is really quite simple.
