Lacy Openwork Knitting Stitch
The Lacy Openwork knitting stitch would make a lovely baby blanket. It has a delicate airy look and feel to it. Our sample was knitted on size 8 needles using worsted weight yarn. You could knit it as our sample or use a baby weight yarn with smaller knitting needles.
Skill level: Intermediate; 4 Stitch pattern repeat.

1st row: K1, *yfrn, p3tog, yon, k1; rep from * to end.
2nd row: P2tog, yon, k1, yfrn, *p3tog, yon, k1, yfrn; rep from * to last 2 sts, p2tog.
