Large Woven Cable Knitting Stitch
I love the intricate weaving pattern of this Large Woven Cable Stitch. It is a cable panel worked over 20 stitches on a background of reverse stockinette stitch.

Panel of 20 sts on a background of reverse St st.
Special Abbreviation:
C8B = Slip next 4 sts onto cable needle and hold at back of work, knit next 4 sts from left-hand needle, then knit sts from cable needle.
C8F = Slip next 4 sts onto cable needle and hold at front of work, knit next 4 sts from left-hand needle, then knit sts from cable needle.
1st row (right side): K20.
2nd row: P20.
3rd row: K4, (C8F) twice.
4th row: P20
5th to 8th rows: Rep 1st and 2nd rows twice.
9th row: (C8B) twice, k4.
10th row: P20
11th and 12th rows: As 1st and 2nd rows.
Rep these 12 rows.
*To work a background of reverse stockinette stitch, in straight stitching, purl the first row, knit the second and repeat these two rows.
