Mosaic Tile Crochet Stitch Pattern

Stitched in four rounds, you alternate between two colors as you stitch up this mosaic tile crochet square. It is a great way to add some color to your crochet project!

Any weight yarn in two colors with the appropriate size crochet hook. Our sample was made using worsted weight yarn and a size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook.

Abbreviations:
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
rep = repeat
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
sp = space

Base ring: Using color A, ch 6, join with sl st.
Round 1: Ch 4 [1 dc, ch 1] 11 times into ring, sl st to 3rd of ch 4, draw color B through loop, drop A.
Round 2: [sc into next sp; ch 2] 12 times, sl st to first sc, draw A through loop, drop B.
Round 3: *[sc into next sp, ch 2] twice, [2 dc, ch 2] twice into next sp for corner; rep from * 3 times more, sl st to first sc, draw B through loop. Fasten off A.
Round 4: *(sc, ch 3) into each sp to corner, [sc, ch 3] twice into corner sp; rep from * 3 times more, sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
