Orchid Blossom Crochet Stitch Pattern
This petit flower is worked in only one round so needless to say, it will not take you long to complete this simple crochet pattern. A fun idea for this flower pattern would be to make a bunch of them and join them end to end to make a garland for a bridal shower. To dress up this flower, attach a pom pom to the center.
Any weight yarn with the appropriate size crochet hook. Our sample was made using worsted weight yarn and a size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook.
Abbreviations:
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
Base ring: Ch 6, join with sl st.
Petal: [ch 6, 1 sc into 2nd ch from hook, 1 hdc into next ch, 1 dc into next ch, 1 hdc into next ch, 1 sc into next ch, sl st into ring] 8 times. Fasten off.
