Oyster Pattern Knitting Stitch

oyster knitting pattern

The Oyster stitch would make a beautiful knitted afghan or pillow. It has a fun bulky texture to it. Although it has a "right side" to it, the wrong side doesn't look much different making it a good pattern choice for an afghan. I re-wrote this tried and true pattern to make it easier to understand.

4th row: P1 *k5 dropping extra loops, p1; rep from * to end.
