Valentine's Day Frame
Make a special frame to display a picture of you and your Valentine. It will be a cherished keepsake for years to come.
Kids will also love to make this frame. It contains some of their favorite craft activities - painting, gluing and glitter.
Craft Supplies:
- Wooden frame
- Red or white craft foam letters
- Craft foam hearts
- White glue
- Red, white or pink glitter
- White or red acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Paint the wooden frame either white or red. You don't have to paint the back of the frame but be sure to paint the inner and outer edges. Two coats of paint are recommended letting them dry completely between coats.
- Spread a layer of white glue on the face of your frame and stick the craft foam letters and hearts* into the glue. While the glue is still wet, cover it with glitter. Shake off the excess glitter and let dry before putting a picture inside the frame.
*Arrange the hearts any way yo like on the frame.
It may be helpful to do half of the frame at a time so the glue doesn't dry too quickly.
