Zigzag Knitting Stitch
The Zigzag stitch is completed using a series of basic knit and purl stitches and can be successfully completed by anyone who is comfortable with these stitches.
Skill level: Beginner +; 6 Stitch pattern repeat.
Multiple of 6.
1st row (right side): *K3, p3 rep from * to end.
2nd and every alt row: Purl.
3rd row: P1, *k3, p3; rep from * to last 5 sts, k3, p2.
5th row: P2, *k3, p3; rep from * to last 4 sts, k3, p1.
7th row: *P3, k3; rep from * to end.
9th row: As 5th row.
11th row: As 3rd row.
12th row: Purl.
Rep these 12 rows.
