| Materials:
- Pinecones
- Yarn or string
- Birdseed
- Peanut butter
- Knife or spoon
1) Tie yarn or string securely around the end
of the pinecone.
2) Using a knife or the back of a spoon,
cover the pinecone with peanut butter.
3) Roll the pinecone in birdseed. An
easy way to do this is to pour the birdseed onto
a plate.
4) Tie the birdfeeder to a tree and let the
birds enjoy eating and the children enjoy
watching.
Hint: If you are doing this with a
large group of children, consider using paper
plates to pour the birdseed onto. Also use
plastic knives or spoons as this will make
cleanup a breeze.
