Lacy Knit Scarf

This scarf works up quickly and is a simple pattern to follow. If you can knit, purl, yarn over and knit two together, you can successfully knit this scarf.

Directions are given for adult size scarf. For a child size cast on 20 or a multiple of 4. Work in same manner as adult scarf only making it shorter.

To Begin:

• Cast on 24 stitches
• Work in K2 P2 for 4 rows

Pattern:

• *Yo, K2 tog Repeat from * to end of row
• K for 5 rows

Repeat pattern until scarf is desired length then work K2 P2 for 4 rows. Your cast off row should be worked in the K2 P2 pattern and should be counted as the 4th row of K2 P2. Using a yarn needle, weave loose ends back into your work.
