When made from the featured yarn, this scarf is super soft. It works up quickly using a half double crochet stitch. I omitted fringe from this scarf for a more sophisticated look but feel free to add fringe if you like.

Crochet Supplies:

• 5oz of Jewel Box yarn by Caron
• Crochet hook size G
• Yarn needle

Adult size: 5" x 56"

Child size: 4 1/4" x 45"

Chain 16

Row 1:* hdc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 2 turn [14 (11) hdc across]

Row 2: hdc in 1st hdc and in each hdc across, ch 2 turn

Repeat row 2 until scarf measures 56" (45") or desired length. Fasten off and weave the loose ends back into your work.

*Work through both loops now and throughout.
