Description

Biba Trellis is a very unique design. It is worked with simple knit and purl stitches as well as a series of slip stitches. Biba Trellis makes a great boarder on a variety of projects and gives them a modern feel.

Materials and Supplies

You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).

Craft Instructions

Multiple of 14 + 5.

Note: Slip sts purlwise with yarn at wrong side of work.
1 st row (right side): Purl.
2nd row: Knit.
3rd row: Purl.
4th row: P1,  *p7, sl 3, p4; rep from * to last 4 sts, p4.
5th row: K4, *k4, sl 3, k7; rep from * to last st, k1.
Rep the last 2 rows once more, then 4th row again.
9th, 10th and 11th rows: As 1st, 2nd and 3rd rows.
12th row: P1, sl 3, *p11, sl 3; rep from *to last st, p1.
13th row: K1, sl 3, *k11, sl 3; rep from * to last st, k1.
Rep the last 2 rows once more, then 12th  row again.
Rep these 16 rows.
