Description

Flickering flames reminds me of just that flickering flames. It brings to mind a cozy winter evening. It is not too difficult for a knitter who has some experience and it is not a hard pattern to follow.

Skill level: Intermediate

10 Stitch pattern repeat.

Materials and Supplies

You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).

Craft Instructions

Multiple of 10 + 1
1st row (right side): K1, *yo, k3, sl 1, k2tog, psso, k3, yo, k1; rep from * to end
2nd row: Purl
Rep the last 2 rows 3 times more.
9th row: K2tog, k3, yo, k1, yo, k3, *sl 1, k2tog, psso, k3, yo, k1, yo, k3; rep from * to last 2 sts, sl1, k1, psso.
10th row: Purl.
12 to 16th rows: Rep the last 2 rows 3 times more.
Rep these 16 rows.
