Description

The Goblet Lace pattern is worked over a ten stitch repeat and fourteen row repeat with every other row being a row of purl stitches. It is not a difficult pattern if you have some basic knitting experience including knowing how to do a yarn over, knit two together, and passing slip stitches over.

Skill level: Intermediate

Materials and Supplies

You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).

Craft Instructions

Multiple of 10 + 1
1st row (right side): K1, *yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k2tog, yo, k1; rep from * to end.
2nd and every alt row: Purl
Rep the last 2 rows twice more.
7th row: K1, *yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k5, k2tog, yo, k1; rep from * to end.
9th row: K2, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k3, k2tog, yo, *k3, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k3, k2tog, yo, rep from * to last 2 sts, k2.
11th row: K3, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k1, k2tog, yo, *k5, yo, sl 1, k1, psso, k1, k2tog, yo; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3.
13th row: K4, yo, sl 1, k2tog, psso, yo, *k7, yo, sl 1, k2tog, psso, yo, rep from * to last 4 sts, k4.
14th row: Purl.
Rep these 14 rows.
