I've rated this pattern intermediate, not because of the difficulty of the stitches used, they are all knit and purl, but because of the complexity of following the pattern. You don't need to know any fancy stitches to complete the Intertwined Texture stitch. You just need to be able to read a pattern well.

15 Stitch pattern repeat.

Materials and Supplies

You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).

Craft Instructions

Multiple of 15 + 2.
1st row (right side): *P13, k2; rep from * to last 2 sts, p2
2nd row: K2, *p2, k13; rep from * to end
3rd row: As 1st row.
4th row: Purl.
5th row: P2, *k2, p1, [k1, p1] 4 times, k2, p2; rep from * to end
6th row: K2, *p3, k1, [p1, k1] 3 times, p3, k2; rep from * to end.
Rep the last 2 rows 4 times more.
15th row: P2, *k2, p13; rep from * to end.
16th row: *K13, p2; rep from * to last 2 sts, k2
17th row: As 15th row.
18th row: Purl
Rep these 18 rows.
