Description

The Open-work ladder stitch has only two rows which alternate. This makes it an easy pattern to follow and keep track of. Basically you work the stockinette stitch with open-ladder inserts.

Skill level: Intermediate

10 Stitch pattern repeat.

Materials and Supplies

You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).

Craft Instructions

Multiple of 10 + 6
Foundation row: K6, *p2, k1,p1, k6; rep from * to end.
1st row (wrong side): P6, *k2tog tbl, [yo] twice, k2tog, p6; rep from * to end.
2nd row: K6, *p2, k1,p1, k6; rep from * to end.
Rep these 2 rows.
