Description

Open Work Mullions knitting pattern works up quickly and is not too difficult to master. It is also fairly easy to keep track of while you are knitting and with a little experience, the stitches are easy to recognize.

Skill level: Intermediate

6 Stitch pattern repeat.

Materials and Supplies

You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).

Craft Instructions

Multiple of 6 + 2.

Note: Slip sts purlwise with yarn at front (right side) of work.

1st  row (right side): K1 , *yarn to front, sl 3,  k3; rep from * to last st, k1.
2nd row:  Purl.
3rd to 6th rows:  Rep 1st and 2nd rows twice.
7th row:  K1 , *k3,  yarn to front, sl 3; rep from * to last st, kl.
8th row: Purl.
9th to 12th rows:  Rep 7th and 8th rows twice.
Rep these 12 rows.
