Description
The Ostrich Plume Panel is worked on a background of reverse stockinette stitch which really makes the pattern pop.It is simple to follow this pattern as three of the four rows are basic knit and purl stitches.
Skill level: Intermediate
13 Stitch panel.
Materials and Supplies
You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).
Craft Instructions
Worked over 13 sts on a background of reverse St st.
1st row (right side): Knit
2nd row: Purl
3rd row: K4tog, [yo, k1] 5 times, yo, k4tog.
4th row: Purl
Rep these 4 rows.
To work a background of reverse stockiette stitch, in straight stitching, purl the first row, knit the second and repeat these two rows.
