Description

Twisted Cable Rib is not a difficult stitch to master. It is more of a faux cable stitch as you don't have to move stitches to a cable needle. This fancy rib knit stitch has a lot of give to it and would be a good pattern for knitting hats.

Materials and Supplies

You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper).

Craft Instructions

Multiple of 4 + 2.
1st row (right side): P2, *k2, p2; rep from * to end.
2nd row: K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to end.
3rd row: P2, *k2tog but do not slip off needle, then insert right-hand needle between these 2 sts and knit the 1st st again, slipping both sts off needle tog, p2; rep from * to end.
4th row: As 2nd row.
Rep these 4 rows.
