Description

The Twisting Cable stitch is knitted as a panel of three stitches on a background of stockinette stitch. It works up quickly and is the first pattern I have posted which uses the cable needle on the purl row as well as the knit row.

Skill level: Intermediate to advanced.

Panel of 3 stitches on a background of reverse stockinette stitch.

Materials and Supplies

You can use any weight yarn along with the appropriate size needles for that particular yarn. A suggestion of needle sizes often is posted on the yarn label (wrapper). You will also need a cable needle for this stitch.
